Sick Day Excuse - Independence Day in Kenya

Call in sick, you have a holiday to celebrate! December 12th is Independence day in Kenya.

"People in Kenya celebrate their National Day on the 12th of December. They call this day Jamuhri Day or Independence Day. On Jamuhuri Day people parade in the streets. Children go to stadiums to watch matches, they eat, they sing and they parade in the streets."

...that's what I'm habla-ing about.

So throw on your running shoes and run a half marathon (or sleep) in support of our marathon winning Kenyan brethren.
